YUP YUP YUP

It's time for TURKEY WEEK!!! WOOOO

Well, I got a car since last post. It's a '97 Black Honda Accord. It's got leather seats and a sunroof which is really neat, but the transmission is acting up, so I have to get that fixed before the warranty runs out.

Other than that, nothing mucho and besides that I don't want to type anymore....

ALL THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED SINCE THE LAST POST:
  • An Evacuation of campus
  • A totalled car
  • Surveillance
First on the list was a total evacuation of Clearwater Christian College due to hurricane Wilma. It was forcasted to hit Ft. Myers/Naples on Monday, but we were still in the little cone thingy, so Hodges and his henchmen told us to find higher ground. So, just like last year, I took a couple people with me to my house. Jarrett Kime and Sarah Filliben came over. We went to the beach on Sunday (after church) and the waves were HUGE. They were 15ft high!! I got knocked around like a rag doll, but it was soo much fun.
The hurricane came and was gone in like 6 hours, which is really fast for a hurricane. I actually slept thru most of it.

Okay, we need to back up a couple days...On Saturday (two days before the hurricane, one b4 the beach) Jarrett and I were coming back from my friends house and we were driving along and all of a sudden a car pulls right in front of me and CRRAASSHHHH. We were going straight and a guy was pulling out of a side street on my right trying to take a left, therefore coming right in front of me. I don't know if he didn't see me or was just suicidal, but we ended up nailing him in his front left fender and totalled my car.

Right after we hit him and called the cops, Jarrett sees my video camera and says that we should video this...so....we do! I got video of the guy that hit me, my car, his car, the tow truck taking my car away and some other stuff. It was awesome.

The guy had Geico and they paid for a rental car (which I have for another 4 days or so) and gave me a check for about $1,900 more than I paid for my car. So, I have that to put down on a new car. I'm not sure what car i'm going to get yet, but I'm going Monday to look.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car payments by hitting a Geico customer!

Okay...then today, I work some surveillance work down in Ft. Myers. I was surveilling an old lady with a hurt hand. The problem was she didn't come out of her freakin house! I got up at 4:30am and got down there and worked till about 4pm all for nothing. Well, I take that back, I did get paid for it. It would of been a little more exciting if she had come out of her house though. Sitting in your car for 12 hours isn't the funnest thing I can think of...

Okay, so now ya'll are caught up on my life...now write something!!!

Back at the Official Xanga Update place...PANERA BREAD.

Well, got back from Golf Nationals late Tues. night, and woke up for my 8am spanish class. I am so glad it's Friday though! I had so much work I had to do yesterday and today it was ridiculous.

For Nationals, we got 3rd in the Nation for our Division (NCCAA Div. II) and 17th in the Nation for both Div. I and Div. II. We beat quite a few of Div. I schools which is huge. I had so much fun with the team and with Dr. Hodges, the VP of CCC. He is awesome. We beat  our score from last year by 74 strokes! that's a crap load of shots!! The scores for the 2nd day were:
Josh - 74
Me - 82
Corey - 83
Justin - 86 (I think)
Bryan - 91

Ok, so last night the Volleyball Team played Southeastern and it was awesome! We beat them in the 5th game 15-13. If you weren't there, you are a loser and missed the best volleyball game of the season. If a volleyball game is that good, i can't wait till basketball season! Especially the Southeastern vs. CCC game.

STORY OF THE WEEK:
I'm starting a new section of my Xanga updates. Since I have such a non-normal life and things seem to go crazy when i'm around, i'm going to add the Story of the Week for each update.

The story of the week goes to Dr. Hodges. At the Volleyball game last night, I had my video camera and said to Hodges to do something crazy. So he starts to make some weird funny faces, but then his wife yells something about kissing his wife on camera, so Hodges grabs his wife and kisses her on camera in the middle of the volleyball game! it was awesome. The best part about it is that it's all on camera!

ok, i'm out

Sitting in Econo Lodge in Heath, Ohio.....and it's about the most ghetto motel on the earth. There was a beat up red car with painting that said, "Newer Tires......Runs Strong....For Sale" with no license plate. It was amazing.

We played our first round at Nationals today, and actually didn't do bad at all. We are 3rd in the Division II behind Northland and Southeastern (SE is winning the whole tourney) and there are 9 teams. We are actually beating some Division I teams. A HUGE improvement from last year, in which we got 3rd to last. Here is what the scores were:

Bryan:    81
Josh:      80
Corey:   84
Me:       84
Justin:    91

Well, I better get some sleep, b/c we have to wake up at 6am tomorrow for our last round and then we are flying back late tuesday night back to prison (aka clearwater christian college).

Cya
